Pulsar Construction is a locally owned and operated deck-building company (sole proprietorship).
We specialize in deck construction and replacement using high-end advanced PVC decking, high-quality composite decking, and traditional wood decking. We are experts in building ground-level, low-elevation, and multi-level decks, including pool decks.
Alex, the owner/founder of Pulsar Construction and the deck installation crew leader, has over 25 years of construction/carpentry experience, with 13 years dedicated exclusively to building decks in beautiful British Columbia.
Alex is certified as a Trex Pro and TimberTech Deck-Building Contractor. For multiple years, HomeStars and Houzz have recognized him as one of the best deck-building contractors in the Lower Mainland BC.

Pulsar Construction is accredited by the Better Business Bureau with an A+ rating, licensed, and insured. We have Worksafe BC coverage and carry $2 million in general liability insurance to protect our client's property.
We use a progress payments system, it's when the actual payments will depend on the amount of work the deck contractor has completed. We never run more than one project at the same time so we can focus on the building process from the beginning to the completion of the project. All this eliminates the majority of the risk associated with hiring a contractor and makes your deck project one of the smartest investments you can make to improve your home.
We combine customer desires with building regulations, functionality and quality workmanship. We provide a labor/installation warranty on new built decks and completely replaced/rebuilt decks.
